Movie Fans, Step Aboard the “Race” Bus
Saturday, May 14th, 2016This fully restored vintage Greyhound bus appeared in the movie Race , the recent film about Jesse Owens’ fight to compete in the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games where he won four gold medals. “The Rochester Subway” Presentation Next Sunday, January 11
Saturday, January 3rd, 2015The New York Museum of Transportation presents a 40-minute slide talk on the Rochester Subway. The show is at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 2015 and is free with admission of $5 adults and $4 under age 12. Images from the museum’s vast photo archive portray the Rochester Subway from construction, through operation, to its abandonment almost 60 years ago. New Exhibit Honors the Hojack Swing Bridge
