Two days late and three dollars short – from local development to just plain news of the weird, here are your RocLinks for this past week…
It’s Art
Here are some interesting sculptures around town. I’m personally partial to the Fox Sisters obelisk. Not because obelisks are weird, but the Fox Sisters sure were.
Yum
Greentopia’s “Dinner on the Bridge” was moved to it’s rain date. It happens to be Tuesday evening, and it looks like there are still tickets if you’re interested.
Three Heads
City Paper takes a look at the new Three Heads Brewery over in NOTA. I can’t wait to get there myself.
It’s Art (pt. deux)!
And finally, local artist Chris Lyons is featured on a new forever stamp. Fitting for the hometown of the Cutler Mail Chute.
Have a great weekend, and as always, use the comments below as open discussion for anything in these links – or let us know if there’s a topic you’d like to see us hit more aggressively in future RocLinks. Have a great weekend!
