The Rochester Fringe Festival is coming up very soon (9/15 – 9/24 to be exact). It looks to be as good this year as ever, so be sure to check it out for me.

No, not Scott Bakula (sadly, as far as I’m concerned), but rather quantum encryption coming closer and closer to reality thanks to a team at UofR. Pretty soon you’ll need to give your iPhone a blood sample to unlock it, but it’ll be really secure.

Well folks, Rochester is over. How is it that Erie, PA has a fake news site, and we don’t? Further, I submit the following as evidence of just how good it is.

And finally, proposals for Parcel 5 at Midtown were due Friday. D&C says there were a few, but is a little light on details. You know as much as I do, but are slightly less ornery about it.

Seriously though, I read that article on the Quantum Enigma Machine three times and still don’t understand how it works. No matter. It sounds like the Chinese have already cracked and copied it.
