There’s tons of development happening all over the city of Rochester. In addition to the bigger ones, I thought I’d keep you updated on some of the smaller projects that are less spoken about.<\/p>\n

179 Atlantic Avenue has been completely overhauled inside and out. The building is nearing completion and will be ready for occupants sometime around the new year…<\/p>\n

\n179 Atlantic Avenue \"external<\/a> was formerly home to the ARTWalk offices (and before that, the Gay Alliance offices). It was purchased by Joe Ventura, proprietor of ArtWalk Tile, and is now being converted into high-end apartments.<\/p>\n

The outside of the building has been done in a bright orange, matching the eclectic feel of the Neighborhood Of The Arts (NOTA). See how it looked before on Google Streetview \"external<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nThe second floor has had a rooftop patio added for residents of the apartments.<\/p>\n

\nThe former storefront on the first floor is being converted to an apartment.<\/p>\n
