WAYO 104.3 FM is a new non-commercial, low-power community radio station with expansive musical and cultural programming, emphasizing creative freedom, diversity, and community engagement&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a title=\"On Wednesday August 20, WAYO will launch a $50,000 Indiegogo campaign to raise funding for equipment and the first year of operations. [IMAGE: Provided]\" width=\"100%\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nSince its inception in 2012, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wayofm.org\/\" target=\"_new\">WAYO <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"position:relative; top:2px;\" alt=\"external link\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rochestersubway.com\/images\/icon_link.gif\" width=\"15\" heigth=\"11\" border=\"0\"><\/a> has established affiliation with the <a href=\"http:\/\/muccc.org\/\" target=\"_new\">Multi-Use Community Cultural Center <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"position:relative; top:2px;\" alt=\"external link\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rochestersubway.com\/images\/icon_link.gif\" width=\"15\" heigth=\"11\" border=\"0\"><\/a>  (MuCCC), received FCC approval to broadcast, secured studio space and a broadcast tower in the city, and launched a dynamic web presence (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/wayoradio\" target=\"_new\">Follow WAYO on Facebook <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"position:relative; top:2px;\" alt=\"external link\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rochestersubway.com\/images\/icon_link.gif\" width=\"15\" heigth=\"11\" border=\"0\"><\/a>). The station is on track to begin broadcasting over the air and streaming online in December of this year.  <\/p>\n<p>WAYO now seeks public support to bring the dream to the radio dial. On Wednesday August 20 at 10:43 am, WAYO launches<br \/>\na $50,000 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiegogo.com\/projects\/wayo-104-3-fm-way-out-right-here\" target=\"_new\">Indiegogo campaign <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"position:relative; top:2px;\" alt=\"external link\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rochestersubway.com\/images\/icon_link.gif\" width=\"15\" heigth=\"11\" border=\"0\"><\/a> to raise funding for equipment and the first year of operations.
