[PHOTO: Winters, via Library of Congress]\" width=\"406\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOn the far right is a pit where the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.libraryweb.org\/rochimag\/architecture\/LostRochester\/Elwood\/Elwood.htm\" target=\"_new\">Elwood Building <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"position:relative; top:2px;\" alt=\"external link\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rochestersubway.com\/images\/icon_link.gif\" width=\"15\" heigth=\"11\" border=\"0\"><\/a> has just been demolished to make way for the Crossroads Building. The vaults under State Street are left temporarily exposed by the void.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and I love the old telephone booths on Main Street.
