We rediscovered this story about a 100 year old train wreck<\/a> about 20 miles east of Rochester.<\/p>\n

Plans for Irondequoit Square<\/a> were posted on RocSubway before it was covered by the local media.<\/p>\n

The Inner Loop was prematurely declared dead<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A ghostly glowing orb in the subway tunnel<\/a> was captured on camera… and promptly debunked by readers.<\/p>\n

Ken Burns inspired us to learn about Prohibition in Rochester<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Ken<\/a><\/p>\n

One month later, RocSubway broke the news of Genesee Brewery’s planned visitor center and the demolition of the historic Cataract Brewhouse<\/a>. And we imagined Rochester’s Historic Brewery Square<\/a>.<\/p>\n

We cranked up the radio and took a Drive thru Rochester<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"We<\/a><\/p>\n

We learned about one of the greatest speeches in American history<\/a>; delivered right here in Rochester.<\/p>\n

And we held our collective breath as Lego man voyaged into space<\/a> for the first time; narrowly missing a Rochester landing.<\/p>\n

We asked a fairly obvious question, and answered it with a hit-me-over-the-head graphic: Does Rochester Have a Parking Problem?<\/a><\/p>\n

RocSubway teamed up with Landmark Society and photographer Richard Margolis to create Rochester’s Eyesore to Opportunities<\/a> series.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

This spring we discovered a mobile recording studio<\/a> cruising the streets of R-O-C. And we helped give new life to 2nd Chance Park<\/a> community garden.<\/p>\n

We spent a few minutes with Rochester’s roadside guitar guy (Dave) who played us a ditty<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This summer we got excited about ROC Transit Day & guerilla wayfinding signs<\/a>, secret sidewalks<\/a>, implosions<\/a>, and jigsaw puzzles<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And somehow we found time to pick a fight with the Mayor \"external<\/a>.<\/p>\n
