\nA new exhibition celebrating Rochester\u2019s heritage encourages us to honor and preserve our past as we seek to revive our city for the future. Beginning February 3, a collection of digitally-enhanced images of Rochester during the Progressive Era will be on display at Joe Bean Coffee Roasters [map \"external<\/a>] throughout the entire month of February.<\/p>\n

\"Clinton<\/a>\"Mike<\/a>The prints, which are Gicl\u00e9es (fine digital\/inkjet) on museum quality paper, are provided by Rochester native Mike Battle \"external<\/a>. Battle, an animation designer\/illustrator who has worked on several well known television series including The Simpsons and King of the Hill, believes these old images of Rochester have a special relevance today. “It’s a way for Rochestarians to reconnect to our roots and enjoy the heritage that has led us to where we are today,” says Battle.<\/p>\n

\"Erie<\/a>Many of the images (about 15 on display) feature vintage views of downtown Rochester and are available for purchase on his website \"external<\/a>.<\/p>\n
