This could one day become two-way traffic.\" width=\"406\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe City of Rochester has contracted with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.labergegroup.com\/\" target=\"_new\">Laberge Group<img decoding=\"async\" style=\"position:relative; top:2px;\" alt=\"external link\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rochestersubway.com\/images\/icon_link.gif\" width=\"15\" heigth=\"11\" border=\"0\"><\/a> of Albany, New York to determine the feasibility of converting the one-way street couplets of St. Paul Street\/South Avenue and North\/South Clinton Avenue between Byron Street and Cumberland Street to two-way traffic to improve neighborhood accessibility and walkability. Key considerations are expected to include impacts to traffic congestion, safety, parking, bicyclists, pedestrians, transit, and service provision.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><a title=\"Two-way Conversion Project Map\" rel=\"lightbox-twoWayStudy\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rochestersubway.com\/images\/photos\/two-way-conversion-study-area.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left; margin:0px 8px 8px 0px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rochestersubway.com\/images\/photos\/two-way-conversion-study-area.jpg\" border=\"1\" alt=\"Two-way Conversion Project Map\" width=\"140\" \/><\/a>The immediate study area is the St. Paul Quarter neighborhood in Downtown Rochester, bounded by the Genesee River, the Inner Loop Expressway, North Clinton Avenue, and East Main Street. The secondary study area is generally the Washington Square neighborhood, extending south of East Main Street to Byron Street.
