Look out below! A piece of the Broad Street Bridge self-demolished\"external<\/a> right into the Genesee. Apparently it was due to be actively demolished soon anyway, so hopefully this saves a few bucks for the city.<\/p>\n

YUP<\/h3>\n

This coming Wednesday at 7pm come to the Landmark Society for an open meeting\"external<\/a> of the Young Urban Preservationists. Not only should it be a roaring good time, I have it on good authority that you will be able to throw rotten fruit directly at me.<\/p>\n

Un-indebted<\/h3>\n

Apparently Rochesterians owe far less\"external<\/a> on mortgages than the rest of the state and the country in general. That can’t be all bad.<\/p>\n

It’s cramped in here<\/h3>\n

Rochester Guy implores you to get out of the car.\"external<\/a> If only Rochester had but one car. That said, he makes some excellent points. Walk some. It’s good for you, and maybe you’ll catch some Pokemon while you’re at it.<\/p>\n

Complicated Environmentalism<\/h3>\n

And finally, remember when the Great Lakes and surrounding rivers kept catching fire due to pollution a while back? Well apparently the problem now is that the Great Lakes are full\"external<\/a> of flame retardants. What a strange twist.<\/p>\n
