Our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and associates of Mr. Anthony Costello.\"external<\/a> I know I haven’t always agreed with the developments he and his company chose to pursue, but there is no arguing the indelible mark he has left on the Rochester community. <\/p>\n

Fall(s) Cleaning<\/h3>\n

If you’re looking for some good old fashioned volunteer fun, consider joining the Lower Falls Foundation\"external<\/a> tomorrow to help clean, well, the lower falls. Everyone will be meeting at the Maplewood Rose Garden Parking Lot at 2 pm to spend 2 hours cleaning. Refreshments and supplies will be provided.<\/p>\n

New developments in Rochester (and really everywhere) are often questioned on their aesthetics. And while there’s really no accounting for taste, here are some truly tacky buildingss\"external<\/a> to temper one’s architectural views.<\/p>\n

Ongoing Filling In<\/h3>\n

The city has finally released\"external<\/a> its RFP(s) for the development of the new land created by the Inner Loop fill in. If you’re interested in reading the actual RFP(s), it (they) can be found here.\"external<\/a> From my reading, there are no major surprises so far.<\/p>\n

Outside Opinion<\/h3>\n

And finally, the Rose Fellowship program evaluated Rochester\"external<\/a> this year, and the didn’t say anything you probably wouldn’t have expected them to if you’re a site regular.<\/p>\n
