The city is considering loosening regulations\"external<\/a> in select areas to permit for off-leash dog parks in town. While Rochester seems a little late to the party in this regard, it will be a welcome change all the same. I don’t even have a dog, and I’d love one somewhere in Corn Hill. I would like to see the parks be somewhere that parking isn’t a consideration, though, as dog parks are for a neighborhood, like a playground, and not something to drive to.<\/p>\n

Entrepreneurial Spirit<\/h3>\n

In a recent ranking,\"external<\/a> Rochester made 10th in the nation for female entrepreneurs. Considering other great cities like San Antonio and Oklahoma City are in the list, this is an excellent spot to be. <\/p>\n

We’re crazy late to this link, but we felt you couldn’t live without it. Here are a variety of alternatives\"external<\/a> in Rochester to getting E. Coli from Chipotle. Eat up!<\/p>\n

Long Range and You<\/h3>\n

There’s still a week to submit your comments\"external<\/a> on the Genesee Regional Transportation Council’s (GTC) Long Range Plan for Rochester. The plan will guide transportation investment for the next 30 years, so it’s a reasonably big deal to get it right, and GTC definitely wants to hear from you. <\/p>\n
