Rochestersubway.com was first brought to my attention when I saw the University of Rochester\u2019s Lost Swimming Pool article<\/a> posted on social media. The photos were so beautiful and haunting that I was inspired to explore more on the site. <\/p>\n

I was just starting to get into urban exploring and Rochestersubway.com showed me amazing locations in Rochester that I had never heard of. So I started to use the website as a reference for new places to explore…<\/p>\n

\"Abandoned<\/a>
\nIn my exploration of Rochester, I recently found these abandoned cars in the Four Mile Creek Preserve \"external<\/a> trails in Webster. <\/p>\n

\"Abandoned<\/a>
\nI found out that the town purchased these 72 acres in 2004 under the open space referendum. Still a mystery on where the cars came from. They have bullet holes in them and there is a bunch of glass and trash through out the trails.<\/p>\n

\nFor these photos, I wanted a dreamlike effect and I hoped smoke bombs would help me achieve this. I have seen smoke bombs used in other artist\u2019s photographs so I had an idea of the effect they would create. <\/p>\n

\nBecause smoke bombs only last sixty seconds, my friend and I had to work fast to capture the image. I hope you enjoy the photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them. <\/p>\n
