Moment of Silence
Our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and associates of Mr. Anthony Costello.
I know I haven’t always agreed with the developments he and his company chose to pursue, but there is no arguing the indelible mark he has left on the Rochester community.
Fall(s) Cleaning
If you’re looking for some good old fashioned volunteer fun, consider joining the Lower Falls Foundation tomorrow to help clean, well, the lower falls. Everyone will be meeting at the Maplewood Rose Garden Parking Lot at 2 pm to spend 2 hours cleaning. Refreshments and supplies will be provided.
From the Department of Eye Searing
New developments in Rochester (and really everywhere) are often questioned on their aesthetics. And while there’s really no accounting for taste, here are some truly tacky buildingss to temper one’s architectural views.
Ongoing Filling In
The city has finally released its RFP(s) for the development of the new land created by the Inner Loop fill in. If you’re interested in reading the actual RFP(s), it (they) can be found here. From my reading, there are no major surprises so far.
Outside Opinion
And finally, the Rose Fellowship program evaluated Rochester this year, and the didn’t say anything you probably wouldn’t have expected them to if you’re a site regular.
