Open Sundays only, the New York Museum of Transportation features an array of full-size trolley cars, steam locomotive, antique highway and horse-drawn vehicles, smaller artifacts and a large model railroad.
The museum is located at 6393 East River Road in West Henrietta, NY, just 20 minutes from downtown Rochester and easily reached from Exit 11 off I-390.
In the summer season, the museum joins with the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum to provide a unique visitor experience of two museums connected by trolley and train rides.
