   The link to the “modern” map has a typo in the URL. There is an extra “h” in the “http.”

   Are you serious? I missed another tour? PLEASE tell me there will be more scheduled? I heard about the tours on the radio AFTER they had taken place!!! I have been trying to participate in a tour for way too long…

   Thanks! Well now that I know this site exists… I have put it in my favorites. I also spread the word about it at work. I have taken many peeks leaning over the railing by the War Memorial (I will always call it such regardless…) since I was a little kid. My grandmother remembers when it was in operation. Such a great piece of history and still so beautiful. I hope i get to see it revived and put to good use in my lifetime!

   Veronica – There will be tours of the tunnel this Saturday, Oct. 9 from noon to 3 p.m. It’s part of Rochester River Romance weekend. From the city’s press release: “Enter on Broad Street next to Blue Cross Arena. Volunteers from the Canal Society of New York State will be strategically placed in the aqueduct to provide history and insights about this unique downtown aqueduct. Also hear about proposals for future redevelopment.”
