The Erie Canal cuts through Genesee Valley Park at the bottom, and defines much of Rochester's border to the south/west.
This is truly a 'living map' of our city. Rochester is a reflection of its neighborhoods – both the people who settled them, and those who live there now. They have changed over time—some more than others—and they will continue to change. That is a beautiful thing.
