Way Cooler Than Cash.

Last month we shared with you a set of 5 vintage Bus & Trolley Passes.
This month were excited to share with you 5 more passes
AND a super cool RTC Token. Rochester Transit Corporation and its
predecessor Rochester Railway Co. used tokens like this one and
others since the late 1800s. This particular type of token was
first issued by Rochester Transit Corporation in 1948. They were
sold 11 for 50¢ and were good for one fare on trolleys and buses
within the city of Rochester.
Click on a Token or Trolley Pass below to see it up close and learn more...

Your Subway Confessions

Recognize the location in this photo? Its the Monroe Avenue I-490 overpass near the
Monroe YMCA and Library. Of course, at the time the photo was taken, this bridge crossed
over the Subwayand it was the very spot where two AMAZING Subway stories took place.
