Way Cooler Than Cash. Last month we shared with you a set of 5 vintage Bus & Trolley Passes. This month we’re excited to share with you 5 more passes AND a super cool RTC Token. Rochester Transit Corporation and it’s predecessor Rochester Railway Co. used tokens like this one and others since the late 1800’s. This particular type of token was first issued by Rochester Transit Corporation in 1948. They were sold 11 for 50¢ and were good for one fare on trolley’s and buses within the city of Rochester.
